This Standard specifies the hexagon nuts for structural bolting - thread specification is M12-M36, the performance grades are 8 and 10, the product grade is B, and used with grades 8.8 and 10.9 bolts. Hot-dipped galvanized nuts can provide 6H thread tolerance zone after galvanization according to the agreement by the supplier and purchaser. 6H hot-dipped galvanized nuts must be matched with 8.8s U or 10.9s U hot-dipped galvanized bolts, and thread tripping may occur due to over-twisting.
